Gillian Fleetwood Glasgow, UK
Gillian is a Scottish harper, composer and singer based in Scotland. She has been a key player in the Scottish Harp scene
for many years as part of The Duplets, and in her own right as a tutor and examiner, and being part of Scotland's vibrant indie scene.
Her career has taken her all over the world and she is proud to have inspired many people to say “I never knew the harp could do that”.

Keening, yearning, captivating and lovely collection of songs, the sense of close performance all the more remarkable when you learn it was made during Covid lockdown in 2020. The ballads and poems set to music on this album might be hundreds of years old, and while they do have an air of immortal, ancient tradition about them, they sound utterly current.

I did find this band in Youtube, Live at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2023. For me it was so good, can't find words, it blew me away and still does.
